Great spot for take out. I recommend strawberry chicken and waffles. I also recommend oxtails with rice and peas. Also the curry chicken or goat. Delicious!
I recommend this as a late night dinner option for folks who enjoys Jamaican food. I've ordered their Rasta Pasta with Jerk Chicken, Brown stew chicken with Rice N Peas, and their fried chicken with white rice and oxtail gravy. All of those meals were delicious. But I will say this.......The Rasta Pasta is spicy and a bit soupy. So, if you're the creamier or stiff sauce lover.....then this might be want you want to order. However the taste is spot on!!!! Every drop of seasoning and tender jerk chicken. The brown stew chicken was cooked to perfection and the perfect shade of gravy. I loved it paired with the rice. Very flavorful!!! The fried chicken pieces were chopped up and layered with oxtail gravy. Myyyyyyyy Lord!!! If you've never had oxtail gravy, then you're definitely missing out.
We wanted to try several dishes and ended up ordering the small size of the curry chicken, jerk chicken rasta pasta, and the brown stew chicken. Seriously, so much food for two people, but our bellies were satisfied. Our favorite was the brown stew chicken! The jerk chicken had a nice smokey flavor but was a little too spicy for me.
The chicken and waffle game at this place is elevated. The variety of flavors they have to choose from is awesome. Perfect waffles and crispy well seasoned chicken. So far I've tried about four different flavors and I love them all. I promise after trying it out you will be returning here. I'm surprised to see low reviews because this place has been giving 5 star vibes the 3+ years I've known about it. Even when it's delivered it's 100% bomb. Seriously recommend trying it out if you're a chicken and waffle fan. I look for any and every excuse to order this.
